Jam of the Week | Islands - The xx
I’m stuck on this girl/guy band kick. The xx is similar to the scarjo/yorn project I was mumbling about last week, but it’s less lame and smart and cool. The album is worth hearing… kids that are into cool girl/guy songs about love and stuff will like it. They are coming to the Triple Rock on 11/30 and the Bottom Lounge on 12/01 with the Friendly Fires. Thanks to Ashley for the intro.
