The Halloween Bug is Biting Early
Does anybody remember the awesomeness of the Rankin-Bass classic, Mad Monster Party? Rankin-Bass was such a huge inspiration for me as a youth… I recently saw Mad Monster Party playing on the big screen in between bands and First Ave and I was struck with a feeling in my stomach that reminded me of being a 10 year old in complete awe of what I was viewing in the screen. One of those times that I completely forgot about something I cherished so much as a youth. I wish that would happen more often… I do have a terrible memory… so I’m optimistic. Looks like a remake from Warner Bros with a screenplay from the writers of Desperate Housewives is set to come out sometime in December… less optimistic about that.
