Dotto Eating Challenge #00001
For those of you who don’t know Dotto is a porker. A few months ago, I challenged Dotto to eat the locally famous delicious and giant roast beef sandwich at Mayslack’s in NE Minneapolis in 8 minutes or under. The stakes aren’t exciting… if he can eat in the allotted time, I buy lunch… if not… I get lunch. Tomorrow is will be the day of Dotto’s very first Dotto’s Eating Challenge.
Tonight I took the liberty to do some research on whether or not this a good deal for me. I dropped by Mayslack’s and asked their staff if they would take the over/under on 8 minutes of their porkiest friend… three of three took the over.
Then I saw a big boy… BIG BOY… hanging at the bar. I asked him if he’s tried the roast beef sandwich here. He looked at me like I was stupid and said, “the signature roast beef sandwich?.. yeah.” So I asked him how quick he could take that fucker down and he said two minutes.
I realize now, I’ll probably be paying for lunch tomorrow… but that was a big hungry fucker and Dotto is a small hungry fucker.
I’ll still keep the bet at 8 minutes and let Dotto win, but I will see if I can get that down to 5 minutes. So that’s the new real over/under.
