Don emailed me today with more evidence for a long-time idiotic debate we’ve had amongst our friends. That debate is: can top-ranked American tennis player, Andy Roddick, known for his 155 mph serve throw a baseball over 80?
We’ve had a lot of debate about this… there was a small myspace session on it. Don recently saw that he threw the first pitch out at Yankee Stadium and heard it was sissy-like. This is not game deciding evidence however… he probably didn’t warm up or really try to throw it as hard as he can. The picture above looks like he’s got pretty bad mechanics though.
So… the question is… Can Andy Roddick throw a baseball 80mph?
